Overview

Job Summary:

The BA/PO will work closely with the Product Owners, Operating Companies, Experience Owners, Delivery teams, vendor partners and all Agile working teams to discover and innovate potential valuable solutions that drive strategic business goals and objectives. They will also be responsible for documenting the requirements of any new features for future development for the IS delivery team. The BA will act a proxy for Product Owner when needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and analyze business problems and define the scope of activities required to address the issues, including requirement definition, process review, impact assessment and operational streamlining where appropriate. 
  • Is involved in all aspects of projects, including documentation of project needs, analysis/research of needs and possible solutions, identifying technology and business solutions, gathering, documenting and updating business requirements; reviewing workflow process mapping; developing business testing strategies and working with project members to execute the test plan, recommending preferred solutions, and implementing recommendations. 
  • Manages project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, etc.) and documents process flows and gaps. 
  • Assess, research, analyze and document sponsor/stakeholder needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with business partners and internal/external team members. Identify issues and escalates/manages resolution as required. 
  • Coordinates and provides support to the business with the process implementation. Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Scrum Meetings and other agile activities. 
  • Analyze and translate functional and non-functional business requirements into project specifications.
  • Assist with Product Backlog management and user story development and prioritization.
  • Work with the Agile team that supports Salesforce.
  • Will take business prioritization and requirements and partner with our technology team to Features and User Stories to deliver prioritized initiatives

  • Ability to take complex business requirements and break them down into actionable user stories for our developers
  • Assist Technical and Architecture resources to design feasible solutions leveraging current assets as appropriate and consistent with the broader enterprise direction
  • Actively participate in discussions and design sessions regarding platform, data, user access, and systems integration requirements
  • Ensure that defined solutions include, and address items needed to successfully implement, operationalize, and support those solutions in a fast-paced production environment 
  • Partner with Technical Teams, Quality Management, and Business to verify solutions solve the business need and function as intended
  • Interact with Management to determine System requirements
  • Experience in design and develop software systems/applications
  • Engage in Implementation of software systems applications

Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, specialization in Business, Finance, Engineering, Science or Math is desirable.
  • Experience in most facets of project lifecycle; proficient comprehension of project management methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years, in Salesforce Sales/Service/Community Clouds preferred
  • 2-4 years of equivalent professional experience that includes: 3 years administering CRM systems/tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodology with ability to learn/adapt to new methodologies quickly
  • Experience in utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM Products to create customer or business solutions
  • Hands-on experience in designing Salesforce or comparable CRM Product, including work processes, approval principles, and security controls
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes. 
  • Knowledgeable on business process modeling, process mapping. 
  • Capable of writing clear and well-structured business requirements documents. 
  • Contributes to the development of detailed level process maps, to facilitate requirements gathering, gap analysis and for training use. 
  • Ability to resolve minor conflicts and issues using different tactics to avoid escalation. 
  • Work with team members to understand the needs of the project. 
  • Requires strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
